Markets in Santanyí
Balearic Islands, Balearic Islands
Markets in Santanyí centre on one of Mallorca's most popular open-air markets. Held twice a week on the streets around Plaça Major, the Santanyí market draws both locals and visitors looking for fresh produce, local crafts and clothing.
Santanyí sits on the southeast coast of Mallorca and is known for the golden sandstone used in its historic buildings. The same Plaça Major that hosts the market is also home to the town's 18th-century parish church, making market mornings a good excuse to explore the old town.
