Markets in Ourense centre on the city's long tradition of open-air trading around the Alameda Park area. The capital of Ourense province sits along the River Miño and is best known for its thermal springs, but its street markets and periodic fairs are well worth a visit too.

Beyond the regular weekly market, Ourense holds traditional fairs on the 7th, 17th and 26th of each month near the Central Market and Barbaña Park.
