This small town in the Vallès Oriental comarca, about 30 km north of Barcelona, is better known for its outlet shopping, but the local weekly markets are where residents do their real shopping.
The Friday market sets up along Rambla Mestre Jaume Torrents in the town centre, with around 30 stalls selling fruit, vegetables, textiles, footwear and plants. On Sundays, the Santa Agnes market takes over Plaza Fontanelles in the Santa Agnès de Malanyanes neighbourhood with a similar mix plus meat, cheese and dairy. Both markets run from 7:30 to 13:30.
