The Mercado del Carmen is located in the El Perchel district of Málaga, a historic area once linked to the fish-drying industry. The market covers around 1 300 m² and hosts about 85 stalls offering fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, prepared foods and bakery goods. It was fully renovated in 2010 and includes a bar with terrace where seafood dishes can be enjoyed. It is open Monday to Saturday and closed on Sundays.
