It occupies around 900 m² and, following a 2009 renovation, reduced its number of stalls to approximately 30–40 to allow for larger individual units. The market continues to serve as a local shopping point, offering fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, meat, and grocery items for neighbourhood residents.
