The Biomercado is an organic market on Avenida de Hernán Cortés, in the historic centre. It's open Monday to Saturday and stocks local honey, olive oil, fresh fruit, vegetables, and handmade crafts. Extremadura is known for its cured Ibérico ham and Torta del Casar cheese, and you'll find both at stalls here.
